Easy Chair by Fredrik Paulsen
- Fredrik Paulsen started to experiment in various techniques for coloring wood during his time at the Royal College of Art. He did his own wood stain recipes exploring the reactions of different solutions and different types of wood. Paulsen also built up a library in experiments in how various types of wood distributed color with its own capillary action creating beautiful color to wood fadings. Paulsen makes all the coloring himself in his Stockholm studio. The technique makes every Easy Chair a unique object.

Antistress Low Chair by Bashko Trybek 5^240 is the number of pattern combinations, given 5 colours of anti-stress balls used in the project of this chair. Colours are based on printing raster which creates a picture in the process of printing. Metal wire construction of the seat is a frame for creating patterns. Through an individual choice of ball colours and patterns, client is given the opportunity to participate and co-create the project. The user gets emotionally involved, creating a chair of his/her ‘very own’. Freedom of choice is the main idea of the project.

The Big Basket is a chair made out of felt, woven in to a steelframe. The idea comes from the old basketwicking techniques.

The Acapulco chair is a classic Mexican chair. It takes its name from the famous Pacific resort.

In the 1950s, when the chair first went into production, Acapulco was the Hollywood hot spot. John Wayne, Elvis, and the Kennedys lounged on sunny terraces overlooking the Acapulco bay.
